Looking for Droids

I just picked up a few Star Wars figures that will serve as the foundation for a project I'm dubbing the Tattooine Project. I've always wanted to collect Star Wars but haven't really focused on the figures. This time around, my game plan is to gradually build up a collection of figures around the following themes: The Planet Tattooine -- any figure that appeared in scenes on the planet Tattooine, especially the alien races, vehicles and creatures that appeared in Star Wars and Return of the Jedi. I told you, no droids here... ... and here too... oh look! Bantha barbecue! Bounty Hunters: Hunting The Millenium Falcon -- The infamous mercs shown in The Empire Strikes Back Jedi Knights -- Alien Jedi and Sith. So far, so good.

First look at The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey toy line at SDCC!

Awesome sneak peek at the new toy line for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey! The figures will be available in both 3.75 inches and 6 inches. The line seems to have the following set categories:  Check out the article here . Basic figures Figure 2-Packs Figure Deluxe 2-Packs Box Sets of 5 figures Beast Packs Battle Packs Damn! I'm so psyched up for this! Can anyone say "BATTLE OF 5 ARMIES?" Pictures taken from here.

Waiting for The Dark Knight Rises

I'm pretty stoked with the upcoming conclusion to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy with The Dark Knight Rises. Here are a few pics of my Tumbler and Bat Pod.

Ana's Star Wars

Writer Ana Alcala's monitor is home to Lego C3P0 and R2D2. The Lego Star wars minifigs came with the Lego Kids Star Wars C3PO and R2D2 Combo Watch. The watch comes as construction bricks and you assemble it just like Lego toys. And guess who's sharing the monitor real estate with the droids?
