Rebel Snow Speeders

posted from Bloggeroid The Incom Corporation T-47 airspeeder was an airspeeder that became famous during the Galactic Civil War for its use by the Alliance to Restore the Republic as a military fighter known as the snowspeeder. During the Battle of Hoth, snow speeders delayed the advancing Imperial forces, providing extra time to evacuate Rebels from Echo Base. After finding the snow speeders' blasters to be ineffective against the armored AT-AT walkers, Rebel pilots used tow cables to tie up the legs of AT-ATs, causing at least one to crash to the ground. In addition to cold environments, T-47s were modified by Alliance forces for use in several different climates. The swampspeeder version included flotation gear and water-tight seals. The sandspeeder was equipped with advanced filters to keep out sand, engine cooling units, and long-range radar for navigating sandstorms. Millenium Falcons

posted from Bloggeroid "You came in that?! You're braver than I thought." My small Millenium Falcons. From left to right- Happy Meal, Lego Microfighter, Lego Minibuilding Set and Tomica diecast  The Millennium Falcon, originally known as YT-1300 492727ZED, was a modified YT-1300 light freighter with a storied history stretching back to the decades before the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire. After changing hands, and names, a number of times, it eventually fell into the hands of Lando Calrissian after a game of sabacc—but Calrissian himself lost the ship in another game of sabacc to the smuggler Han Solo several years later. Solo and his Wookiee copilot, Chewbacca, became the ship's most famous and permanent owners, flying the Falcon during their smuggling careers and their subsequent work with the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

Beach Head

Beach Head is the G.I. Joe Team's sergeant major. After he completed Airborne and Ranger training, he went on to join Central America's Covert Ops as an Observer/Advisor. After his training in Central America, he became a lane instructor. He was then offered a spot in the G.I. Joe team as a Ranger. Beach Head's habits include getting up hours before his teammates and going on a 10-mile run, then undergoing rigorous physical training that would make the most gung-ho of his comrades weary - and all before breakfast. 1:18 resin FN SCAR with vertical fore grip.

Dusty

Dusty is the G.I. Joe Team's desert trooper. Dusty is an excellent tracker. He is fluent in Arabic and Hebrew, and conversant in Kazakh and the Oirat-Khalkha languages of Central Asia. He is also noted for his patience, his strong leadership qualities, and his excellence for sneaking up behind bad guys in the desert, and popping a can of firefight. Painted 1:18 resin model.  The Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle (SCAR) is a modular rifle made by FN Herstal (FNH) for the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
