Combat! 1:18 American Soldiers on Patrol

A small vignette using a few 1:18 WW2 American soldiers in Europe. More soon. posted from Bloggeroid

Viking Minifigs

Here are two viking-themed minifigs I picked up in a sale. I have no idea who the makers are nor the country of manufacture. Really nice playability though with interchangeable accessories. I was able to get some vikings, greeks, a few knights, egyptians and a pirate. I'd appreciate any info anyone might have regarding these figures.  UPDATE! I just verified these as being made by Kai Jal Industrial Limited but also sold by Sun-Mate. What their relationship with Sun-Mate is something I'll have to look into more.

R2D2 Rubber Stamper

R2D2 came as a fast food promo and features a nice base that connects to similar bases, thus making a larger display base. The Star Wars logo is printed on one side of the base and R2D2's name on another. The logolized name though is not very attractive design-wise and doesn't compliment the iconic typography of the Star Wars logo. The figure can be removed from the base and the base opens up to reveal four rubber stamps of different designs and an inkpad. Neat little addition to my R2D2 collection. posted from Bloggeroid

The Incredibles ' Jack-Jack Parr

Jack Jack Parr is the youngest member of the super-powered Parr family, aka The Incredibles. Initially thougt to have no powers, he is soon revealed to have an unknown number of superpowers and may well be the most versatile of the Parr children. The toy is a fastfood promo vinyl figure I got second-hand. Very cute and well made although it is more of a statue rather then an action figure having no articulation at all. Also, it is not the same scale as the other figures in the collection, being substantially bigger. posted from Bloggeroid
